DESCRIPTIONLovastatin is an enzyme blocker also known as a "statin." It is used along with a proper diet to help lower cholesterol and fats (triglycerides) in the blood. POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS
Headache, dizziness, rash, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, upset stomach, insomnia, flatulence, nausea, muscle aches, blurred vision, dysgeusia, lens opacities, increased transaminases, heartburn, pruritus.
CAUTIONS
- Not for use if you have active liver disease, are pregnant or breast-feeding.
