During the first treatment period, both the frequency and the duration of the migraine episodes were significantly reduced in both groups. During the second, a significant, additional improvement in both parameters was seen only in Group B. In this study, no side effects were observed at any time. Results from this study showed that, similar to other antidepressants, trazodone is a valid treatment option for children with migraine.
